The YC Hertfordshire Stevenage Transgender Project is open to all young people who live, work, or are educated in the Stevenage area of Hertfordshire and who identify as transgender, non-binary, gender fluid and/or questioning their gender. It is run by YC Hertfordshire which aims to provide a safe space for a social and supportive group. The Stevenage group meets on the first Wednesday of every month. YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.

YC Hertfordshire is working with Who Not What, a group of young LGBTQ people who have come together to improve services for young LGBTQ young people in Herts. Through their work we've developed specific support for the young transgender community.

Our aim is to provide safe spaces for young trans people to socialise and support each other. There will be youth workers on hand to offer support and advice and you'll have a chance to take part in other activities in the future.

Please email us for more information or to express interest in joining. To keep all members safe, we only disclose the venue location to the members.
