Watford Fire Cadets

Sport / Outdoor AdventureEntertain MeHealthVolunteerLearning & CareersAdvice & Information

Watford Fire Cadets is a group for 12-18 year olds, giving you the opportunity to engage in training exercises similar to those of the operational firefighter crews but on a smaller scale, i.e. ladders, hoses, breathing apparatus, community fire safety work, theory and technical input.

If you join the Watford Fire Cadets you will also have the opportunity to get involved in local community safety initiatives, attend fire service cadet camps and pump competitions, as well as broadening your horizons with other activities such as climbing, camping, go-karting and water sports.

Becoming a Fire Service Cadet is a great way for you to develop your personal qualities, including building your self confidence and developing your teamwork skills. The experience you will gain as a cadet will also help support applications to join the Fire Service.
