A school health nurse is on hand to respond to texts on our dedicated number - 07480 635050. The service is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm.
You can text in about all kinds of issues and concerns, from mental health to bullying, or just to seek advice about other services you need to access. All texts are completely confidential. We don't inform your parents, teachers, or anyone else if you contact us. We might inform someone if we're concerned for your safety, but we'll text you about this first. All our healthcare staff follow these confidentiality rules.
We'll aim to reply to you within one working day and you'll get a bounce-back text to confirm we've received your message. Texts won't be seen outside of the working hours.
If you need help before you hear back from us please contact your doctor or a member of your school.
Our number doesn't receive voice mails or picture texts. You can text STOP at any time to stop receiving replies if you don't want to receive any more help from the school nurse. Messages are charged at your usual network rate.
