There's all kinds of things going on at the Bowes Lyon Centre for Young People in Stevenage... from music, drama, and sports to Duke of Edinburgh! Come along and get stuck in!

At the Bowes Lyon Centre we have loads of things for you to do...

* Sports - basketball, football, bmx bikes, skateboarding, inline skating, badminton etc
* Arts - painting, pastels, modelling etc
* Social activities - music, games, discussions etc

Other things you can do... table tennis, bowling, jewellery making, dance, DJ workshops, cooking, trampolining, video making and loads more!!

There are great facilities at Bowes Lyon Centre including...

Here's the schedule of regular activities that happen every week at the Bowes Lyon Centre:

11am-2pm WeR2B
Are you a parent to be or do you have a baby under 3 months old? Are you bored or do do you need somewhere to go? This group is for you! Come and talk about anything: healthy eating, relationships, budgeting, education - or just have a coffee. Only £1 for lunch!

Tuesdays: MEGAMIX
5.15–7.15pm for ages 13 to 17
7.45–9.45pm for ages 18 to 25
A wide range of activities and trips designed specifically for young people with additional needs and support.

Wednesdays and Thursdays: YOUTH PROJECT
6.30-9.30pm 6.30-9.15pm
Activities include photography, cooking, multisports and much more.

Take part in the DofE award! You will develop skills for work and life, at bronze, silver or gold level. Packed with great fun activities, it provides you with achievements for your CV and is recognised by employers and universities.

7-11pm Last Friday of every month - After Dark Rock Music Gig
These gigs are run by the Music Development Group (MDG) which meets at Bowes on Wednesdays at 4pm. If you want to get involved in organising events or want to learn about PAs, stage lighting, booking artists, stage management etc.. then come along and be part of it! All the activities at the Bowes Lyon Centre are suitable for young people aged 13-19 years, up to 25 years if you have a learning disability. We actively encourage the integration of young people from all backgrounds and abilities.

Access/entrance fee for all sessions 50p.

Disabled access to all areas.
